It also includes some interviews at the kitchen table and opens windows into the past and to international projects showing the diversity of his artistic activity.--
Born in Moscow in 1944, pianist Alexei Lubimov received his first musical education at the Central Music School of the former Soviet Union in Moscow.
From 1963 he studied there at the conservatory as one of the last students of the legendary Heinrich Neuhaus, then at his assistant Lev Naumov.
But above all Maria Yudina became his model because of her courageous commitment to New Music.
